Neonatal Care Unit

St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center offers the only Neonatal Care Unit in the Magic Valley. We provide compassionate, highly skilled care for infants who are sick or up to 10 weeks premature. The St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center medical and nursing staff work closely with St. Luke’s Medical Center to share education and collaborate on treatment protocols.

Extremely premature and critically ill infants are transferred to St. Luke’s, and they often return to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center when their condition improves. St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center and St. Luke’s have also worked together to improve the post-hospital therapy and medical care available in the Magic Valley to eliminate the need for our youngest patients and their families to travel to Boise for ongoing outpatient care.
