Employee Benefits
The following benefits are available to full-time and part-time employees only:
Health Insurance |
$500 Deductible Plan – Pays 80% of the cost of most basic services, including hospitalization (after you meet the deductible). Most preventive services are covered at 100% (with no deductible). $1500 Deductible Plan - Covers 80% of the cost of most basic services, including hospitalization (after the deductible is met). Most preventive services are covered at 100% (with no deductible). PPO Plan – A $25 co-payment ($35 Specialist) is required for in-network services such as office visits, well childcare, and routine physicals (no deductible). The plan pays 80% for many other in-network services. Some services are not covered out-of-network. |
Dental Insurance |
- After a $75 individual/$225 family deductible, the Dental Plan features 100% coverage for preventive treatment, and 50% - 80% coverage for most other procedures. Orthodontia is covered at 50%, with a lifetime maximum of $1,000. |
Prescription Insurance |
- This plan provides prescriptions at local pharmacy or through the mail order program for prescriptions, (generic, brand name, or formulary). |
Vision Insurance |
- This plan pays 100% for most vision care services and eyewear if you use network providers, or a reduced price with out-of-network providers. |
Life Insurance |
- Full-time employees automatically receive one times their annual salary (rounded to the next higher $1,000) in basic life insurance/AD&D coverage. MVRMC pays the full cost of this coverage. Full-time and eligible part-time employees may purchase additional:

Accidental Death & Dismemberment |
Supplemental AD&D available in $10,000 increments, up to $300,00. Available for purchase for employees and their families. |
Long-Term Care Insurance |
Available for employees to purchase for themselves, spouse, parents (in-law), and/or grandparents (in-law). |
Long Term Disability |
MVRMC provides full-time employees with basic LTD benefits. Upon determination of eligibility, coverage is 50% of your monthly salary, to a maximum of $4,000 per month. |
Retirement |
Lifetime retirement options beginning for employees at age 55 or 65+, depending on years of service, 5 year vesting. |
| Adoption Reimbursement | MVMC will reimburse up to $1,000 for eligible adoption expenses for full-time employees who have been employed for at least one year. |
Jury Duty |
Full salary for regular scheduled workdays. |
Paid Time Off – PTO |
From 90 days employment to 4 years accrue 22 days; Employees with 5-9 years of service accrue 27 days; 10 years and over accrue 32 days. Part-time and Full-time accrue on hours worked. |
Extended Sick Leave |
Employee accrues 64 hours per year, up to 520 hours. Part-time and Full-time accrue on hours worked. |

Tuition Reimbursement |
Maximum of $1,500 per semester for successful completion of classes per criteria. Yearly limit of $3,000. Part-time employees receive disbursement based on hours worked during the applicable period. |
