Diabetes Education 

The series of three classes covers ten required education topics from the American Diabetes Association including:  diet therapy, medication administration, foot care, hypoglycemia treatment, home monitoring of blood sugar, sick day management, and prevention of complications.  The classes are taught by a Registered Dietitian, Registered Nurse and Pharmacist who are also Certified Diabetes Educators.

The classes are scheduled every 2 weeks on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to  12 noon.  Individual visits will be scheduled to correspond with classes.
