Breastfeeding 101

Breastfeeding Bunch
A support group for moms, designed to foster interaction among women who are breastfeeding their infants. A breastfeeding educator is available to facilitate and answer questions. Moms are encouraged to bring their babies and socialize/network with other moms. For information, call

Infant Safety and CPR Class

The second class of each Prepared Childbirth class will be offered for persons who have previously taken any childbirth preparation course. Review of childbirth preparation, breathing techniques, and a video tour of the labor/delivery area.

Happiest Baby on the Block
New parents learn step-by-step how to help baby sleep better, avoid relationship stress, and make postpartum adjustments. Class includes a parenting kit containing "The Happiest Baby on the Block" VHS or DVD and "Soothing Sounds" CD.

Safe Kids Buckle Up!

Car Safety Seat Inspections. Car seat inspection and child passenger safety awareness events conducted by certified car safety seat technicians, courtesy of Safe Kids of the Magic Valley. Inspections are held year-round. Come in for a free inspection of your child’s car seat. Purchase a new car seat and have it installed for free by Safe Kids.
