• Thomson’s Top 100 Hospitals National Benchmarks for Success – Boise/Meridian 2008 award winner. Rank: well above 90 percent on hospital-wide performance compared with 3,000 of the nation’s teaching hospitals.  Awards based solely on objective statistical analyses: patient outcomes, patient safety, national treatment standards, efficiency, and financial stability. St. Luke’s is one of only 15 hospitals nationwide  to have received this award five times or more since it’s inception in 1993. St. Luke’s Boise/Meridian are the only Idaho hospitals in this ranking.
• Magnet Hospital Designation-the Gold standard for nursing services (since 2001-2010)
• Highest patient medical care for overnight hospital stays in Idaho-2007 survey results, as reported by Hospital Compare (a new federal government Web tool that helps patients rate medical care across the country)
• Consumer’s Choice Award- presented by the people of Idaho (every year since 1999)
• 2007 Breast Imaging Center of Excellence-by American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging (the only center in all of Idaho to receive this award)
• 2006 American Society of Clinical Oncology Honoree- for efforts to improve cancer care though participation in clinical trials and for using innovative techniques to overcome barriers to patient enrollment (one of only 12 community oncology practices in the country to be recognized)
• Idaho Hospital Association’s 2007 Citation for Meritorious Service- awarded to St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) for 40 years of cancer care and service and dedication to the study, prevention, and treatment of cancer, and the contemporary, comprehensive, compassionate care provided our patients
•  Improvement Award Winner for Operational Excellence-by the VHA Mountain States Leadership Conference for “optimizing patient flow for the emergency department” at St. Luke’s Meridian
• VHA Transformation of the ICU Clinical Excellence Award- St. Luke’s Magic Valley
