What is Family Medicine?
Family Medicine doctors are trained to care for patients of all ages, from infancy through the end of life. We promote the concept of a Medical Home, emphasizing a continuous relationship with a personal physician coordinating care for both wellness and illness. We believe that knowing you over many years, and knowing your family, helps us understand how your health care impacts your life.

St. Luke’s Family Medicine physicians diagnose and treat most medical issues, from infections and sprains to diabetes and asthma. We also specialize in preventive care to help you create and maintain a healthy lifestyle. And when your condition requires a specialist, we can coordinate your care with other physicians and can help you navigate your way through today’s health care.

Brenda Adams, MD Brenda Adams, MD offers a full range of family care services, including women's and adolescent health care, and enjoys establishing long-term patient relationships. She earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Carroll College and her medical degree from the University of Washington. She completed her residency in Boise.
Sam Battaglia, MD Sam Battaglia, MD is board certified in family medicine, and enjoys pediatrics and establishing long-term patient relationships. He earned his medical degree from Tulane Medical School. As a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy, he served in Guam, Florida, Washington State.
William Crump, MD William Crump, MD has professional interests in pediatric and adolescent medicine, skin surgery, and vasectomy. He earned his bachelor's degree from Whitman College and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency at St. Mark's Family Medicine in Salt Lake City.
Eric Hall, DO Eric Hall, DO has professional interests in pediatrics, acute care, and preventive medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
John Wick, MD John Wick, MD has medical interests in pediatric and adolescent medicine, fracture care, and minor procedures. He holds a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine, and serves as team physician for Capital High School and co-team physician for the Boise Hawks minor league baseball club. Dr. Wick also works at Boise State University seeing recreational and student athletes. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. He completed a sports medicine fellowship with Idaho Sports Medicine Institute and the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, and now serves as fellowship director for this program.

Your Appointment
Patients are seen by appointment. Please notify us if you will be late; you may be asked to reschedule.

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment. This will enable us to serve all patients in a timely manner.

We ask that you bring your insurance card with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.

Communication with your provider is extremely important. It may be helpful for you to write down questions for your doctor prior to your visit. Bring a list of medications and the dosages, or bring the bottles with you.

Make sure you understand any instructions you are given. If clarification is needed, review your instructions with the provider or medical assistant before you leave. If you aren't doing well after your visit, we want to hear from you. Our goal is to improve your health.

Insurance Plans
We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare, in-state Medicaid, Tricare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and others.

We ask that you bring your insurance card with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.

Medication Refills
Talk with your provider at each visit to be sure your prescriptions are up to date. When you need to refill your prescriptions, you can request them directly through your myChart account.

You can also request a refill by contacting your pharmacy. Your pharmacy will then contact our office for verification and approval. For patient safety, narcotics cannot be refilled outside of office hours. Talk with your provider before your prescription runs out, and please allow 48 hours for refills.
