Teen Dating
Challenges and Solutions
Description:
Dating today is more complicated than
going to a movie on Friday night. While
many teens are building relationships
based on trust and respect, and coping
well with their transition to adulthood,
others are facing challenges that affect
their emotional and physical well-being.
These include negative peer pressure,
binge drinking, drug use, exposure to
sexually transmitted diseases, reactive
defiant behavior, and the growing
incidence of dating violence.
This
three-week series offers the opportunity
to explore these important issues in a safe
and respectful environment. Together,
teens and parents will discuss each other’s
rights and responsibilities.
Teens must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
