Cardiac Risk Assessment

Description:
During this assessment, you will learn risk factors for heart disease and get the information you need to become more heart healthy. Along with a blood pressure check, you will get glucose and total cholesterol tests, with results available by the end of the session*.

Blood will not be drawn after 8 a.m.

Lab results will be compared for repeat participants.  Handouts on a variety of heart-related topics will also be available. You will need to fast 9-12 hours prior to the draw, and you may want to bring a snack for after the draw.

*Results are available by the end of the session in Boise only. Meridian health assessment and cholesterol levels will be mailed, and a registered nurse (RN) will counsel over the phone with each client when results are available.

Cancellation Policy:
To cancel your enrollment for a class, Call St. Luke's at (208) 381-9000. Notice of cancellation must be received 72 hours prior to class start date for a complete refund. If received less than 72 hours, a fee of 50 percent of the class up to $25 will be retained for administrative costs. This fee will be waived if cancellation is due to a medical emergency or St. Luke's cancels the class.
