Narcotic Addiction: We All have a Role in Prevention

St. Luke's Men's Health Advisory Board has asked Dr. Jay Bishoff to share his presentation on "Narcotic Addiction: We all have a role in prevention" to the public. Prescription drug abuse is steadily rising among all ages and genders. However, prescription drug abuse is now only second to marijuana use among 12 to 17 year olds and is the drug of choice for 12 and 13 year olds. Dr. Bishoff participated in a published study on prescription drug abuse and has presented this information many times to the medical community as well as the general public. The event will increase physicians', school counselors' and nurses', and parents' knowledge regarding this growing problem.
