St. Luke's Children's Genetics

St. Luke's Children's Genetics Clinics are held four times each month at St. Luke's Children's Specialty Center in Boise. Children are evaluated and cared for by Dr. Robert Wildin, who specializes in pediatric medical genetics, and our certified genetic counselor, Erin Dola, MS, CGC. Our goal is to provide care and expertise that complements your primary care, and to work as a team with you and your primary care provider.

Services

St. Luke's Children's Genetics services include:

  • Outpatient evaluation and management services for infants, children, and adults who have, or may have, a genetic disorder.
  • Genetic counseling for concerned family members seeking information about risks arising from a family history of a genetic condition, including prospective parents who have visited a prenatal genetic counselor but desire more information about a genetic condition identified prenatally.

Please note that this clinic does not specialize in metabolic/biochemical genetics disorders. Patients should seek care from a board-certified biochemical geneticist.

Appointment

Patients are seen by appointment only. Please notify us if you will be late; you may be asked to reschedule.

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment. This will enable us to serve all patients in a timely manner.

You may be mailed paperwork to complete prior to each appointment, please contact our office if you have any questions with the paperwork.

We ask that you bring your insurance card, photo ID and current list of medications with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.

Insurance Plans

Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans are accepted. We ask that you bring your insurance card with you to each visit and notify us of any changes in your address, phone number, or insurance information.

Medication Refills

No medications are filled through our office; please contact your primary care physician.
