St. Luke's Cystic Fibrosis Center of Idaho
For Children and Adults


St. Luke's Cystic Fibrosis Center of Idaho clinics are held three times each month at St. Luke's Children's Specialty Center in Boise. Patients are evaluated at the clinics by a variety of specialists with expertise in the medical issues people with cystic fibrosis face. Our goal is to optimize the health of our patients and families by providing top quality health care and education.

We are committed to the constant improvement of quality and length of life for children and adults living with cystic fibrosis. Our services include:

  • Medical and nutritional care that is aimed at achieving normal growth and good nutrition.
  • Therapies that have been proven to slow the progression of lung decline and decrease the frequency of pulmonary exacerbations.
  • Accurate diagnosis and aggressive treatment of pulmonary exacerbations to minimize the loss of lung function.
  • Monitoring for complications of CF, especially CF-related diabetes mellitus, and treating complications with the best proven therapies when they arise.
  • Active participation in research that will improve the understanding of CF and find new therapies to control and cure CF.
