St. Luke's Children's Hospital
Project for Philanthropy
In 2001, St. Luke's opened the Children's Specialty Center (CSC) to consolidate our comprehensive outpatient subspecialty services into one child-friendly location, offering patients and families convenient access to the Children's Hospital's staff and healthcare services.
Currently, 70 pediatric subspecialists offer advanced care services in 36 different disciplines at St. Luke's, many of whom are the only physicians of their specialty in Idaho. St. Luke's estimates that 24 additional subspecialists will be needed within the next five years to adequately meet the needs of our growing community and pediatric population. If our services are not increased, pediatric patients may wait several weeks or months for vital appointments or families may be required to go out of state for these services.

The expansion project will increase the current CSC space by one-third, enhancing the Children's Hospital's capacity for multidisciplinary comprehensive services and clinical areas. Also included in the project is a reconstruction of the current waiting room and playrooms for patients and siblings, as well as a resource center for parents to access vital healthcare information.
Your support for St. Luke's Children's Hospital will not only make a difference, it could save a life.
