The Luke Award 2008
The 9th Annual Luke Award proudly recognized Shirley Osborn and Norco Medical for their dedication to the kids at St. Luke’s.
The Luke Award, presented by St. Luke’s Health Foundation Children's Advisory Board, recognizes individuals and businesses that have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to fundraising efforts for the Children's Hospital.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers and businesses support five special events to raise funds and awareness for St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. Thousands of hours given by these individuals and organizations have helped ensure that the children of our region have the depth of pediatric medical services only available at a children’s hospital.
Luke is…the essence that resides in every child receiving care at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. From a teenage boy with cancer to a little girl injured on the playground, Luke is the strength children pull from to battle illness and mend wounds. Luke helps our critically ill young patients to smile, and gives them the courage to face life at its most difficult. And Luke is, above all, the compassionate spirit of everyone who has helped the young patients at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital.
