Pediatric Surgery
With the availability of pediatric surgeons, pediatric anesthesi a and nine pediatric subspecialty surgeons, we are able to meet the needs of children with almost any surgical condition. Our pediatric dental staff use our surgical facilities to provide comfortable and rapid pedodontic care in a secure environment. Endoscopy is available from a board certified pediatric gastroenterologist; and our pediatric cardiologists provide diagnostic care in cardiac cath labs with specialized equipment and staff suited to the needs of children.
Because anxiety often accompanies pediatric surgery, Child Life specialists are also part of the team. Our Child Life staff provide a weekly pre-surgery tour for children and their families, where they visit the operating rooms and answer questions.
