Each member of the Going, Going, Gone Sawtooth Relay team is celebrating freedom from severe obesity. Before bariatric surgery, they suffered from a variety of serious medical complications related to their obesity, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and joint pain. Many were unable to walk even a city block.

Today, 1,822 pounds lighter, they are athletes – supporting each other on and off the course. They are also supported by the bariatrics team at St. Luke’s Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and W.
