Who is BCTAC?

The Blaine County Teen Advisory Council (BCTAC) was formed to work along side the Blaine County Youth Partnership (BCYP) in its effort to improve the community for youth. BCTAC is comprised of approximately 20 active high school members who actively work on youth-driven projects that will raise the number of Developmental Assets that Blaine County youth experience.

BCTAC Youth achieve Asset Building by:

  • Performing community service
  • Participating on policy-making boards
  • Volunteering time, energy and resources to help the community
  • Coordinating and managing youth issue panels in the schools and community
  • Offering and implementing projects that address youth needs in Blaine County

Check out our calendar for new and upcoming Asset Building activities.

Who is BCYP?

The Blaine County Youth Partnership (BCYP) is a diverse coalition of community leaders and organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Blaine County youth using the Developmental Assets philosophy. The coalition achieves the development of positive youth characteristics, or "Assets," by working with the Blaine County Teen Advisory Council to create and support a variety of valuable programs and services for youth and families. BCYP utilizes information from the Developmental Assets survey conducted in Blaine County, which allows it to focus on local needs, especially those below national averages.
