Vital Signs

After Ellery has changed into her hospital pajamas her nurse will check her vital signs. This means the nurse will listen to Ellery's heart and lungs with a stethoscope, measure her blood pressure and use an ear thermometer to check her temperature.

Ellery's nurse will also put a soft clip with a red light on Ellery’s finger. The soft clip measures Ellery's breathing. None of these things hurt, they are just some of the ways the nurse keeps Ellery safe.
