Pre-Op

The nurse called Ellery’s name, so Ellery and her mom go to the Pre-Op area. Pre-Op means “before surgery”. This is where the nurse helps Ellery get ready for her surgery.

The first step in getting ready for her surgery is to see how big Ellery is. The nurse will also ask Ellery and her mom some questions. The nurse will show Ellery and her mom a private place for Ellery to change into her hospital pajamas.
